The company was founded in May 1991 by K. Brügger and H. Thomet as a general partnership under the name Brügger & Thomet Feintechnik in Spiez on Lake Thun, Switzerland. Brügger is the developer and technician, Thomet is the businessman. The first products are B Suppressors for the domestic market.

Galco International, LTD was founded by Richard N. Gallagher in 1969 as a small family business in Chicago, Illinois. Then known as The Famous Jackass Leather Company, the name took its inspiration from Rick’s stubborn adherence to the highest standards of quality. Jackass, as it was commonly called, was originally a custom leather shop and showroom displaying every imaginable leather product. From sheepskin jackets to handbags, sandals to hats, and wallets to horsehide holsters, everything was made on site.

Harris Engineering has served the South Florida Community since 1993 providing professional civil engineering services on a large variety of development projects. Prior to establishing Harris Engineering, Inc., David Harris, P.E. worked within this same South Florida market for another engineering company. His experience dates back to 1982. Air Arms is officially founded by Bob Nicholls in East Sussex, England. Colin King becomes General Manager, with Bill Sanders as Sales & Marketing Manager. It all begins in 1526. It is October 3 when Mastro Bartolomeo Beretta from Gardone (1490 – 1565/68), sells 185 harquebus barrels to the Venice Arsenal, receiving payment of 296 ducats. Beretta’s official commencement is inscribed in a small piece of paper – we shall call it an invoice – discovered and preserved in the state archives of the Venetian capital. Nonetheless, the fact that Bartolomeo had already acquired the title of Mastro and that his products were chosen by the Venetian republic, suggests with a good deal of certainty that Beretta had been active for at least two generations earlier.
